Dissenters
A Handbook for Rebels and Reformers at Work
When did “dissent” become a polarizing label versus a badge of pride? And are dissenters born, or — under the right circumstances — can anyone become a rebel? By examining how we move from the seeds of dissent to forming radical ideas, to standing up for our beliefs and respectfully challenging authority, we’ll examine the psychology of dissent through the backdrop of history and organizational transformation. More importantly, we’ll learn how dissent shows up in the workplace and weigh up the pros and cons of dissenting viewpoints and show you how to create an army of dissenters to build innovative workplaces.

How I Can Help
Employee insights and consulting
Using my proprietary "Workplace Dissent Readiness Scale," I can help you understand how much dissent is present in your organization in time to work with your dissenters — and before engagement plummets.
What's more, I have 15 years of experience in employee engagement, working with the world's largest companies such as Adobe, Meta, Salesforce, NVIDIA, Santander, Intuit, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and WarnerMedia. There isn't a problem I haven't seen or helped to solve. If you've got something on your mind, contact me for a free 15-minute consultation.
Speaking and inspiration
I've delivered over 50 keynotes and corporate training sessions in the past 5 years, and am available to speak on the future of work, dissent, engagment, behavior change and more.
I also firmly believe one of the best ways to stay inspired is by reading.

Pre-order the book!
We're not quite ready for our pre-order link to be live. But, if you subscribe to my substack — dissentersatwork — you'll be the first to know when it's available. You'll also get a behind the scenes look at the author journey and what it takes to bring a book like Dissenters to life.
I'd love your support — it means the world to me. And, substack is a great place to interact and build community. Would love to see you there!
Are you a dissenter?
Watch this space — I'm working on curating and creating resources for employees who are ready to challenge their employer; have experienced injustice at work; would like their story publicized; or need legal advice.
If you have ideas on what would be helpful, please send them to: lindsay@dissentersatwork.com
